Are drying-up cloths available?
Drying up cloths can be found in the kitchen. Disposable dishcloths are also provided.
Who can I contact if I have an emergency?
The emergency contact numbers for caretakers are provided on the notice board in the lobby of the village hall.
Is there crockery in the kitchen?
The kitchen has sufficient cutlery and crockery for up to 80 people, including plates, bowls, cups, mugs etc. In addition there are some saucepans, kettles and food preparation boards.
What appliances are there in the kitchen?
The kitchen has a refrigerator, freezer, hob, oven and dishwasher. Kettles and a large catering urn is provided.
What car parking facilities are there for the village hall?
The village hall does not have a car park. There is on-road parking opposite the village hall and in the direction of the Church for approximately twelve cars. A bus service runs through the village except on a Sunday so parking on both sides of the road is discouraged.

How many tables and chairs are there in the village hall?
There are 10 large tables (seating 6 each) and six small tables (seating 4). There are sufficient chairs for up to eighty guests although that would be a tight squeeze. It is suggested that 65 guests is the maximum number to be seated comfortably.
How much cleaning up should I do?
The terms and conditions of hire state that the village hall should be left in the same condition that it was found. The village hall is checked after each hire by the caretakers who report any issues to the bookings secretary. If a hirer leaves the hall untidy or in an un-hygenic state the hirers deposit may be forfeited.
All rubbish must be sorted into general waste and recycling and should be put in the relevant bins outside the hall.
Do I need to provide my own bin bags?
Bin bags are available and can be found in the kitchen.
When will the access codes be received?
The access codes to enter the village hall will normally be sent to hirers on the Sunday before the hall is booked.
What payment methods does the hall accept?
Payments for hire of the village hall can be made via BACS, via PayPal or by cheque.
